The role
The consultant will ensure the quality of MHPSS services provided by the center with a focus on Value Based Counseling®.
What you'll do
- Provide trainings and supportive technical supervision of psychosocial counselors and occupational therapists at the Center
- Translate from Dari and Pashto to English and vice versa for English-speaking trainers and supervisors
- Provide further education in Value Based Counseling® to technical staff of the center
What it takes
- Qualification as a licensed VBC® Trainer of National Mental Health Trainers for Psychosocial Counselors
- Demonstrated in-depth methodological knowledge of the Value Based Counseling® approach
- At least 15 years of demonstrated continuous professional experience as a VBC® Supervisor and 10 years as VBC® Master Trainer in the Afghan context
- Working languages (written and spoken proficiency): English, Dari and Pashto
