The role
World Relief is seeking a Tech Support Intern who can set up, update, distribute, and track loaning laptops to clients, provide tech support, train preliterate clients on digital literacy, assist with creating training materials, and offer general office support.
What you'll do
- Set up, update, distribute, and track the department’s loaning laptops to clients
- Train preliterate clients in the basics of digital literacy (phone and laptop usage)
- Provide multiple phone, video, and in-person tech support visits to clients facing problems with their laptops, internet, and/or phones
- Research and help clients obtain low-cost internet
- Assist with creating digital literacy training materials, including making short how-to videos for clients
- Provide general support across the office and with special projects as needed
