The role
OceanX is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Technology to lead and support its global technology function, overseeing enterprise technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, and user support.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute an enterprise technology strategy
- Lead IT planning, governance, budgeting, vendor strategy, technology roadmaps, and investment decisions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Lead the separation and transition of OceanX’s IT and technology risk infrastructure
- Oversee networks, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, identity and access management, end-user computing, AI-related infrastructure, and other core technology services
- Provide hands-on support across technology implementations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operational needs
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is desirable
- At least twelve (12) years of progressive information technology experience
- Experience leading small, geographically distributed technology teams
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments, networking, cybersecurity, identity and access management, enterprise applications, AI tools, and productivity platforms
- Demonstrated ability to balance technology strategy and leadership with hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Experience managing outsourced service providers, consultants, vendors, and strategic technology partners
