The role

Anthropic is seeking a Physical Security Design Engineer and Contract Document Specialist to develop and maintain contract documents for physical security and low-voltage systems.

What you'll do

  • develop, maintain, and enhance contract document basis of design (BOD)
  • author and evolve design templates for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems
  • serve as the contract-document subject matter expert
  • support bid, construction, and operational handover phases
  • partner with GSIS, Real Estate / Workplace, the Network Team, design consultants, and security integrators
  • maintain the GSIS design library under version control

What it takes

  • 6+ years of design engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • core technical expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems
  • understanding of A/E deliverables and phases, CSI-format specifications, equipment schedules, and construction administration submittal processes
  • ability to develop and implement internal tools
  • detail-oriented technical author with strong critical thinking skills
