The role
The Multi-Site Mental Health Provider will support the school in addressing the social, emotional and developmental needs of DREAM’s students and families.
What you'll do
- Supporting students’ social-emotional development through counseling and intervention programming
- Creating Counseling Reports and Quarterly IEP Progress Reports
- Participating in Grade Team Meetings and classroom observations
- Supervising paraprofessionals for students with mandated 1:1 supports
- Collaborating with families to ensure positive partnerships
- Managing the day-to-day work of students’ paraprofessionals
What it takes
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or similar license
- 3-5 years of school-based counseling experience
- Experience with IEPs and Special Education
- Bilingual (Spanish speaker)
