The role
The MIS Officer for the MIS Team will report directly to the Deputy MIS Manager and will coordinate closely with Project Deputy Managers in Syria regarding the timely and accurate collection of all data relating to programme activities.
What you'll do
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained for all programme activities
- Follow up on data discrepancies and errors
- Clean, process, and analyse data using Excel
- Support the Deputy MIS Manager to further develop data entry, collection and storage tools
- Ensure the logical correctness and validity of all data collected
- Develop and use SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
What it takes
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university, preferably in IT, Data Management or similar
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in data management, data entry, database administration, or a related data field
- Experience of leadership and team management
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, VBA, programming language in Excel)
- Excellent data management skills
- Strong practical skills in SQL Server and relational database management
