The role

The International Senior Drug Control Consultant will prepare and deliver specialized lectures, develop lecture materials, provide technical input on drug policy analysis, and contribute to the continuous improvement of course content.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and deliver specialized lectures and academic sessions under the Higher Diploma in Drug Control Strategies in the consultant’s area of expertise
  • Develop and adapt lecture materials, presentations, and practical training content aligned with the programme curriculum and UNODC methodologies
  • Provide technical input on the application of statistical methods in drug policy analysis, strategies evaluation, drug-related crimes conducted via online platforms, trends, risks, investigative approaches and evidence-based decision making

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Law, Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in drug control, criminal justice, law enforcement, or related fields
  • Experience in delivering academic or professional training, including curriculum development and lecture delivery
