The role

The Global Information Management Officer at The HALO Trust is responsible for promoting best practice in Information Management and GIS within HALO programmes, designing and managing databases, and supporting programmes with information management as directed by the line manager and the programme management.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the definition of information requirements and the development of data flows, data QA&QC, and IM standard operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Design, develop and manage databases and ETL/ELT tools.
  • Support with the design, development and testing of data collection forms using Esri’s ArcGIS technology (i.e., Survey123) or other platforms (i.e., ODK, Kobo).
  • Contribute to the development, testing and deployment of the Global Operations Information Management System (GO-IMS) and other Information Management tools.
  • Support HALO programmes with all aspects of information management as directed by the line manager and the programme management.
  • Develop web/desktop maps, dashboards using Esri’s ArcGIS technology.
