The role
CERN is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to develop and maintain web applications for its advanced Network and Telecom infrastructure. The role involves designing scalable back-end systems, contributing to network automation tools, and collaborating with a team of engineers.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the development of CERN's network automation tools
- Extend IP Address Management support for Layer 2 interfaces
- Maintain and further develop the IT-FCS Web interfaces
- Participate in the design and development of new modules for the internal IT-FCS network and telecom management framework
- Promote and develop DevOps processes and tools
- Propose and implement changes in our database model and network APIs
