The role
IDB Invest is seeking a Financial Analyst Consultant to assist with project feasibility assessment, financial analysis, and client relationship management in the Andean Region Division, with a focus on agribusiness, mining, manufacturing, tourism, and the digital economy.
What you'll do
- Assist with project feasibility assessment for lending and investment projects
- Review and analyze financial statements
- Develop and adapt computer financial models
- Establish and maintain quality client relationships
- Assist with the development of detailed post-appraisal project reports
- Assist with disbursements for approved lending and investment projects
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
- Between two to four years of progressive experience in loan origination, structuring, or portfolio management
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written
- Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable
- Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in work location without the need for sponsorship
