The role
Médecins Sans Frontières en México A.C. is seeking an Entomologist for international humanitarian missions, focusing on vector control and entomological monitoring in Honduras.
What you'll do
- Support the assessment and prioritization of vector control interventions
- Participate in capacity building and implementation of vector control
- Provide technical accompaniment to the strengthening of entomological surveillance
- Accompany the design, implementation, and evaluation of pilot studies
- Provide technical support for Project Coordinator and Deputy of Project Coordinator
- Support the implementation of operational vector control strategies
What it takes
- Qualified entomologist with previous experience in the field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related activities within NGOs or universities
- Experience working on or conducting research related to vectors/insects
- Essential: minimum B2 level of English and C1 level of Spanish
- Essential: computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
