The role
Anthropic is seeking an Energy Scheduling & Portfolio Lead to manage energy availability across their non-cloud data center portfolio, including forecasting, scheduling, and managing physical energy delivery.
What you'll do
- Own the live view of energy availability risk and need
- Be the operational counterpart to LSEs, QSEs, scheduling coordinators, and suppliers
- Predict and track curtailment
- Oversee the portfolio's contracted or tariff-based load-flexibility capability
- Manage counterparty performance and Anthropic's exposure under ESAs
- Determine how much gas the portfolio needs to schedule
What it takes
- 8+ years in energy markets, power scheduling, energy procurement, or utility / retail energy operations
- Fluency in ESAs, PPAs, and utility large-load interconnection and service agreements
- Experience with ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, or another ISO/RTO market
- Experience with data center or other large, fast-ramping load
- Experience with behind-the-meter, islanded, or bridge-power configurations
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain
