The role

What you'll do
- Contribute to needs assessments for electrical systems associated with potable water supply and irrigation infrastructure.
- Prepare inputs for and review technical specifications, scopes of work, and drawings.
- Contribute to the oversight of contract deliverables and ensure alignment with contract terms.
- Contribute to the coordination of system testing, commissioning, and final handover to beneficiaries.
- Prepare high-quality AutoCAD drawings and maintain accurate site records.
- Contribute to the archiving and management of design and engineering documentation.
What it takes
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including related electrical components.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in the design or supervision of electrical systems works.
- Experience in the design, rehabilitation or supervision of electrical systems associated with potable water supply, pumping stations, boreholes or similar infrastructure is desirable.
- Experience in the Syrian context and targeted areas will be an added advantage.
