Preparation of Detailed Project and Environmental Pre-feasibility Study for the Augusto Maponesse and Inchope 3 Dams in Manica Province, Mozambique.

What you'll do

  • Prepare feasibility studies for the construction of the dam
  • Prepare detailed designs for the Augusto Maponesse and Inchope 3 dams
  • Develop the Environmental Pre-Feasibility Study and prepare Terms of Reference for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Resettlement Plan

What it takes

  • Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering/Hydraulic Engineering
  • 15 years’ experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to carry out feasibility studies, detailed designs, preparation of tender documents, supervision and contract management for dam projects
  • 10 years’ experience in geo-technics, conducting feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design studies, and tendering for dam projects
  • 10 years’ experience in carrying out feasibility studies, preliminary design or detailed design of dam and hydroelectric power projects, including hydrological and hydraulic design and modelling, dam failure analysis and reservoir sedimentation
  • 10 years’ proven experience in carrying out feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed designs, and tendering for dam projects
  • 10 years’ experience in developing inclusive consultation and engagement processes involving different stakeholders, including community beneficiaries and women
  • 10 years of proven experience in carrying out preliminary and detailed studies for dam projects of similar or greater complexity
  • 10 years’ cumulative experience specifically related to social issues
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering
  • 10 years’ experience in carrying out feasibility studies, preliminary design or detailed design of dams, including dam monitoring systems
