The role

The G-5 Audio-Visual Technician will support the ICC Court Hearings and various high-profile events by maintaining complex audio-visual solutions and equipment. Responsibilities include providing technical support, coordinating with third parties, and ensuring optimal performance of AV systems.

What you'll do

  • Maintain highly complex audio-visual solutions and equipment
  • Act as 2nd and 3rd level support and point of escalation for all supported systems
  • Provide input to management for design and procurement of equipment
  • Control the logistics and security of equipment going for repair and/or preventive maintenance
  • Coordinate the work of 3rd parties and contractors for the delivery of AV infrastructure
  • Assist end users with technical support queries

What it takes

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in ICT field and audio-visual and video teleconferencing
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining broadcast quality cameras and robotics, satellite equipment and video teleconferencing equipment
  • Knowledge and experience with DCN systems at engineering level
  • Knowledge and experience in Audio-Video Switching and distribution and Crestron programming
  • Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, English or French
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy
