The role

Anthropic is seeking a Tax Director to manage the company's global income tax provision and US income tax compliance function, including complex M&A and infrastructure transactions.

What you'll do

  • Own the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision
  • Manage the US federal and state income tax compliance program
  • Own tax journal entries, account reconciliations, and income tax footnote and disclosures

  • Mentor and develop tax team members

What it takes

  • Substantial experience managing a corporate tax function in the multinational software and technology industry
  • Experience with complex M&A transactions and infrastructure leases
  • Experience with ASC 740 provision and compliance processes
  • Experience with US federal and state income tax compliance
  • CPA certification; a Master's in Taxation or LLM is a plus
