The role
Support the origination and execution of private equity transactions with a focus on financial services in emerging and frontier markets.
What you'll do
- Conduct market research, screen potential targets and analyse potential investments
- Develop a thorough understanding of markets and generate deal ideas
- Assist in due diligence with financial analysis and financial modelling
- Support the preparation of investment memos for the Investment Committee
- Monitor transactions post-investment, valuation, and asset management activities
- Prepare ad-hoc reports for Annual General Meetings, investors' presentations, and support senior leadership in RFP and fundraising form preparation and reporting
What it takes
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Private Equity or Corporate Finance
- Strong analytical and technical skills (including financial modelling)
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills
- Experience in financial services and emerging markets
- Graduate from a leading university
- Fluency in Spanish is an advantage
