The role

The London School of Economics and Political Science is seeking a Sustainable Operations Officer to support the delivery of operational sustainability objectives across waste and resources, sustainable travel, biodiversity, and environmental data and compliance.

What you'll do

Support the delivery of LSE’s operational sustainability objectives
Coordinate day-to-day waste services across campus and halls
Support implementation of the School’s Travel Plan
Maintain environmental performance data
Contribute to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 compliance
Support engagement and behaviour change initiatives

Experience coordinating operational sustainability activities
Understanding of environmental management systems, standards, and legislation
Experience maintaining and analysing environmental performance data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
