The role
Recovery Resource Council is seeking a Case Manager to assist homeless or at-risk Veterans with rapid rehousing and homeless prevention services in the Panhandle region of Texas.
What you'll do
- Provide case management services to veterans and their families
- Conduct intakes, housing navigation, and develop Housing Stability Plans
- Follow SSVF guidance and regulations to provide financial assistance
- Work with Health Care Navigator and Employment Specialist for additional services
- Create and maintain positive working relationships with properties
- Participate in community team meetings, case conferences, and staff meetings
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- 2 years of experience providing case management in the human service field
- Experience working with people experiencing homelessness and/or veterans
- Reliable transportation, current Texas driver’s license, and auto liability insurance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Trauma-informed care
