The role
The Senior Treasury Assistant will ensure that IRC's financial systems are followed, internal control procedures are adhered to during financial transactions, and support the Senior Finance Officer and/or Finance Coordination in accounting matters in the field offices. Responsibilities include preparing cash disbursement journals, cash flow, cash flow forecasts, commitments, bank reconciliations, monthly financial transaction closures, and financial reports as required.

- At least one year of experience in treasury and related areas
- At least one year of experience in the financial area of a non-profit organization
- Experience with accounting software, standard spreadsheets, and database programs, preferably Integra
- Ability to work independently with minimal technical support
- Good communication skills that work in diverse cultures
