The role
Responsible for leading the North America payroll operations, processing semi-monthly payroll for around 800 U.S. and Canadian employees while ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll tax regulations
- Own payroll issue resolution and collaborate with internal and external partners
- Partner with People Operations, Benefits, and external vendors
- Assist with year-end activities
- Mentor and guide Payroll Administrator
What it takes
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting Finance or related field AND 7+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably across U.S. and Canadian payrolls
- Strong knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulations
- Experience with payroll systems, ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred
- Strong customer service focus and effective communication
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience working in cross-functional environments, CPP or equivalent designation is a plus
