The role
Anthropic is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the consolidation and intercompany close in their system of record, focusing on multi-entity, multi-currency transactions and automation.
What you'll do
- Prepare and own the monthly and quarterly consolidation close in Workday
- Own the intercompany sub-ledger end to end
- Design and maintain the cost-allocation model for shared costs
- Document intercompany transaction flows
- Partner with the Head of Consolidations & Intercompany to design the target operating model
- Operationalize transfer-pricing arrangements with Tax and support FX and intercompany settlement processes with Treasury
What it takes
- Hands-on experience preparing a multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation close
- Working knowledge of US GAAP for consolidations, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency
- Experience building or materially redesigning an accounting process
- Advanced spreadsheet and data-handling skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, ACA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
