The role
The Security Supervisor for the Obama Presidential Center will be responsible for performing and upholding high standards in building safety services, overseeing security personnel, and ensuring a welcoming but secure environment.
What you'll do
- Ensure security and safety in spaces throughout the Obama Presidential Center
- Oversee and direct security personnel
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address issues with team members
- Maintain a clear presence around the Center, working alongside Visitor Experience staff when applicable
- Lead safety training of Obama Presidential Center personnel responsible for public-facing roles
What it takes
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 2+ years of security experience; 1 year in a supervisory/lead role preferred
- Valid security guard license or certifications as required by state law
- Basic computer skills (i.e., incident reporting, email, scheduling systems)
