The role
CAMBA is seeking a Full-time Residential Aide to conduct security rounds, maintain incident reports, and ensure the safety and security of clients in their Short Term Housing Program in Brooklyn, NY.
What you'll do
- Conduct at least 9 security rounds per shift
- Complete security and fire logs accurately daily
- Submit all incident reports for review and alert the supervisor
- Complete shift exchanged shifts accurately
- Attend at least one staff meeting quarterly
- Address all negative client behavior and report to supervisors
What it takes
- Good written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Security Guard Certificate preferred
- Sufficient education and technical expertise to comprehend written and oral instructions
- Basic math to accomplish maintenance tasks and to document accomplished tasks
