The role
Mutual Housing California is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals, and to build relationships with residents and host community-building activities.
What you'll do
- Support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals
- Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management
- Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities
- Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and service plans
What it takes
- 1+ year experience in social services (property-based experience a plus)
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Vietnamese or Mandarin is required
- Cultural competency and experience working in diverse, low-income communities
- Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills; CPR/First Aid & food safety certs (provided)
