The role
The Representative for Ukraine is a senior leadership role within the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) World Service, focusing on strategic direction, program management, resource mobilization, and representation in Ukraine.
What you'll do
- Provides overall leadership to the LWF Ukraine Emergency Operation
- Ensures programs align with LWF policies and guidelines
- Develops strategies and operational plans for resource mobilization
- Ensures efficient, accountable, and compliant financial and administrative management
- Directly supervises the Program Coordinator, Finance Manager, and other senior unit heads
What it takes
- Master’s degree in International Development, Humanitarian Affairs, International Relations, Social Sciences or another relevant field
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in emergency/humanitarian programming and recovery and development programming
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in a senior leadership/management position in the field of humanitarian response
- Strong financial and hands-on operational management experience
- Proven experience in resource mobilization and donor engagement
- Experience working in fragile and volatile security contexts
