The role

The Regional Payroll Associate provides payroll services ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work under the guidance and direct supervision of the Payroll Analyst.

What you'll do

  • Administer payroll, banking, and disbursement services
  • Advise on benefits and entitlements, staff regulations, and HR guidelines
  • Provide oversight into payroll transactions and compensation components
  • Ensure timely posting of expenditures to the General Ledger
  • Conduct workshops and training for clients

What it takes

  • Minimum 7 years (secondary education) or 4 years (bachelor’s degree) of HR/finance experience
  • Experience using MS-Office, spreadsheet, and database packages
  • Experience with UN/UNDP human resources policies, rules, and regulations
  • Fluency in English; working knowledge of another UN language is desirable
