Regional Coordinator – Middle East

The role

HAMAP Humanitaire is seeking an interim Middle East Regional Coordinator to support the growth of the HMA sector, manage teams, and oversee project activities for a period of 4 months, based in Lebanon with potential trips to Iraq, Syria, and Jordan.

What you'll do

• Support for Coordinators and problem-solving
• Supervision of support functions including budgetary consistency, monitoring and control, logistical optimisation, and internal structuring
• Security management including security validation, crisis management, and compliance
• Development, advocacy, and localisation including localisation agenda, representation, donors, and communication

What it takes

• Minimum 8 to 10+ years of progressive field-based experience with at least 3 to 5 years in senior management roles
• Experience in Humanitarian Mine Action and/or Armed Violence Reduction programming, familiar with integrated approaches
• Confirmed operational experience in the Middle East or comparable high-risk, fragmented political and security environments
• Good practice in multi-country budget consolidation, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cash-flow management
• Direct oversight of field logistics and public procurement audits
• Demonstrated track record managing institutional grants
