The role
UNFPA WCARO is establishing a pre-qualified Regional Consultant Roster to deploy technical expertise for humanitarian, development, and peace initiatives across West and Central Africa. Selected experts will be eligible for short-term and long-term consultancy contracts to provide advisory, research, and evaluation services. What you'll do

- Design and implement programmatic frameworks in fragile or conflict-affected settings.
- Conduct research, assessments, and OECD-DAC standard evaluations.

- Support policy development and advocacy regarding SRHR and peace-building agendas.
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or PhD) in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, Law, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in relevant thematic domains.
- Proven experience working in fragile or conflict-affected settings, specifically the Sahel or Lake Chad Basin.
- Fluency in English and mandatory working knowledge of French.
- Demonstrated expertise in YPS/WPS agendas, nexus programming, or MEAL.
