The role
The Recruitment Assistant helps with recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, processing applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, and assisting in recruitment fairs. What you'll do
- Schedule Interviews
- Conduct Interviews and reference checks
- Assist in placing online ads in various places, maintain tracking of placement for each position in our database management system (Salesforce)
- Attend career fairs or other necessary events to help recruit as needed
- Research new opportunities for candidate outreach
- Communicate with university professors, high school teachers, advisors, and other stakeholders about MCC’s programs
What it takes
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, and relate to a variety of people from different backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, including use of MS Office Suite
- Ability to pass a Criminal History Check
