What you'll do
- Apply the UNDRR PFM assessment guide to analyze recovery frameworks in Timor Leste.
- Conduct interviews with Ministry of Finance and disaster management officials to validate findings.
- Draft a PFM for recovery assessment report and a financial preparedness plan.
- Prepare presentation materials to support validation workshops and capacity building.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and finalize technical reports based on feedback.
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in Economics, Public Finance, Disaster Risk Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public finance, disaster recovery, or public sector coordination.
- Proven experience in national finance systems with strong analytical skills.
- Fluency in English and Tetum is required; Portuguese proficiency is desirable.
- Experience in research related to disaster risk reduction is highly preferred.
