The role
The Protection Legal Officer (Rule of Law) provides critical legal information, counseling, and assistance to conflict-affected populations in Ukraine, working from the IRC's Kharkiv office. The role involves a mix of office-based duties and fieldwork, including mobile team operations and collaboration with local legal actors and Free Legal Aid Centers. Additionally, the officer supports advocacy initiatives, conducts data analysis on legal needs, and trains staff on protection principles to ensure effective humanitarian response.
