The role
The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Protection Assistant - Child Protection - Case Management to provide child protection services in Tripoli, Libya, focusing on case management and community-based child protection activities.
What you'll do
- Implement child protection case management in accord with DRC’s policies and standards
- Provide direct services including PSS
- Make, enable and accompany referrals
- Conduct activities relevant for the evolution of the Child Protection programme
- Support the coordination of program activities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and directives
What it takes
- At least 1 year of professional experience in humanitarian interventions, preferably in child protection
- Experience in child protection case management preferred
- Demonstration of competencies of the Child Protection in Humanitarian Action framework
- Familiarity with international protection and human rights legal standards
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
- Good working knowledge of English
