The role
Mutual Housing Management is seeking a Property Manager to provide leadership and support across their portfolio of affordable multifamily communities. This role ensures smooth daily operations, regulatory compliance, and strong resident relations.
What you'll do
- Oversee property operations, staff, vendors, and resident relations at assigned site
- Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations (HUD, LIHTC, TCAC, etc.)
- Maintain fiscal oversight, occupancy, and property upkeep
- Provide training, guidance, and leadership to on-site staff
What it takes
- Minimum 2 years of property management experience, including affordable housing operations
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing compliance programs (HUD, LIHTC, Tax Credit, etc.)
- Experience preparing property budgets and overseeing day-to-day operations of affordable housing communities
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
- Professional certifications such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Yardi (Affordable or Voyager) and MS Office preferred
