The role
Programmes and Advocacy Lead at TIMEWISE to shape programmes of action research, influence policy and practice, and build public awareness on job quality and workers' rights.
What you'll do
- Shape programmes of action research to influence behavioural change and workplace practice.
- Influence policy and thought leadership, by contributing to Timewise's advocacy and relationships with regulators, unions, sector bodies and government.
- Build wider public awareness of frontline job quality and workers’ rights through campaigns, communications and convening.
What it takes
- Expertise in delivering programmes within a comparable organisation or context aligned to labour market, employment and wider policy agendas
- Experience of research design, including approaches to designing projects that can influence change in public policy and/or employer practice.
- Ability to write concisely and professionally and to communicate ideas and impact
- An understanding of the wider policy landscape relevant to Timewise’s work, and a passion for tackling workplace inequalities
