The role
The Programme Officer will work as part of the Johanniter Kenya national team, supporting the implementation of the TRUST Project and other projects, focusing on Nutrition, WASH, and Livelihoods/Food Security sectors.
What you'll do
- Support the implementation of Johanniter project activities in Kakuma
- Ensure activities are implemented on time, on budget, and in compliance with donor regulations
- Support the Programme Manager in reviewing partner narrative and monthly BVA reports
- Conduct project monitoring visits with partners
- Support the development of client complaints and feedback mechanisms
- Represent Johanniter in relevant meetings
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Studies, Community Development, Public Health, Agriculture or other relevant qualification(s)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in humanitarian assistance or development organizations
- Experience in nutrition, WASH, food security and livelihoods
- Demonstrated knowledge on the application of MEAL concepts in project planning and management
- Strong writing skills in English
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
