The role
The Program Manager-GBV leads technical support and coordination for NCA Somalia’s GBV prevention and response programming, ensuring survivor-centered, gender-transformative, and standards-compliant implementation across the project cycle.
What you'll do
- Contribute to NCA Somalia strategy development, ensuring GBV programming aligns with the Office Strategy (2025–2029)
- Provide technical support to NCA and partner staff to strengthen Protection and GBV programme planning and management
- Ensure high-quality, timely internal and external reporting grounded in evidence and analysis
- Monitor programme performance and provide technical oversight to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, on target, and within budget
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with NCA staff and national partners
What it takes
- Masters in Gender studies, Development Studies or any related Social Sciences
- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in designing, managing, and providing technical oversight to GBV programmes
- Demonstrated experience in working with and strengthening the technical and institutional capacities of local partners
- Fluency in Somali and strong professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience in Somalia or a comparable context is strongly preferred
