Policy Adviser (Healthcare)

The role

AmCham EU is seeking to recruit a Policy Adviser to lead its healthcare policy activities, while also contributing to other policy priorities across the organisation.

What you'll do

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Healthcare Committee and other member working groups
• Drive advocacy initiatives from strategy through implementation
• Draft and coordinate position papers, briefings and other advocacy materials
• Monitor legislative and political developments and identify relevant stakeholders
• Foster engagement with members and facilitate the development of consensus positions
• Organise committee meetings, conferences, seminars, delegation visits and other activities

What it takes

• Minimum two years of professional experience
• University degree in European affairs, political science, international relations, law, economics or a related discipline
• Good understanding of healthcare policy and the EU decision-making process
• Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with a proactive mindset, high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written communications skills
