The role
The Outreach Counselor at Larkin Street Youth Services provides street-based outreach services to youth ages 12-24, coordinates care for youth accessing drop-in/engagement centers, and offers HIV/STI testing and prevention services. This is a full-time position with full benefits.
What you'll do
- Provide street-based outreach services to youth ages 12-24
- Coordinate care for youth accessing drop-in/engagement centers
- Offer HIV/STI testing and prevention services
- Assist youth by working with other programs to ensure youth are moving through the continuum of Larkin Street services
- Contribute towards the care and welfare of staff and youth
- Practice life skills in training for youth
