The role
The Operations Manager will contribute to the implementation of Humanity & Inclusion's mandate and strategy in Sudan, managing a team of project managers and ensuring the quality and impact of projects.
What you'll do
- Management of the team and ensuring the quality and impact of projects
- Strategy and steering, including contributing to the development and implementation of the operational strategy
- Ensuring compliance with global frameworks and standards
- Operational implementation, including monitoring projects and ensuring adherence to donor rules
- Emergency preparedness and response, including reorganizing priorities during emergencies
- Coordination and representation of the organization in the area of responsibility
What it takes
- 5 years of professional experience in Operation/Field/project management in challenging humanitarian contexts
- Experience working in complex and conflict-affected regions
- Proven experience in influencing and advocacy initiatives related to disability-inclusion
- Experience on donor relations, external relations, fundraising, and strategic positioning
- Strong and solid management and communication skills
- Fluency in English, Arabic is a strong asset
