The role
The IDB Group is seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Operations Consultant to support the design, execution, monitoring, and closure of operations in Jamaica, ensuring alignment with the IDB Strategy policies and the country's development priorities.
What you'll do
- Support loan and technical operations using IDB tools and policies
- Analyze and present evidence of sectoral impact from IDBG-financed operations
- Contribute to the drafting of project profiles and operational plans
- Coordinate project start-up workshops and recommend training activities
- Apply predictive monitoring techniques to track activities and processes
- Support the preparation and ensure timely data collection for Project Completion Reports
What it takes
- Masters Degree in Economics, Management Studies, Finance, Business Administration or related fields
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in Project Management, Business Analytics or related field
- Proficiency in English
- Citizenship of one of the 48-member countries of the IDB
- No family members working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab
- Ability to work without the need for sponsorship in Jamaica
