National Consultant

The role

Develop and lead the methodology for analyzing and recommending policies and budgets for improving teacher professional development in eight targeted districts, ensuring alignment with local and national policies and data.

What you'll do

• Develop and lead methodology for analysis
• Provide technical assistance and capacity building
• Ensure quality assurance of all deliverables
• Facilitate development of policy and budget recommendations
• Conduct national synthesis and policy advocacy

What it takes

• Master's degree in policy, education, public administration, economics, or related field
• At least 7 years of experience in education policy, governance, decentralization, public sector reform, or local budgeting
• Experience in analyzing education reports, budgeting, policy briefs, budget tagging, and facilitating local government
• Strong analytical, facilitation, QA, and report writing skills
• Experience working with government, local authorities, international development organizations, or civil society in education
