What you'll do
- Supports relevant departments, sub-delegations, and the Ethiopian Red Cross Society in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating joint programs.
- Facilitates cooperation and mutual understanding between ICRC and ERCS in the field to strengthen their partnership.
- Contributes to ERCS capacity strengthening and supports ERCS in designing and implementing internal policies, systems, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Organizes and facilitates trainings, workshops, and seminars in Addis Ababa and in the field.
- Participates in the reviews of Partnership Framework Agreements, Operational Cooperation Agreements, and other Movement-related agreements.
- Ensures timely reporting of activities to the Movement Cooperation Coordinator.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Political Science, Law, Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification in a related field of study
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Movement Cooperation or a similar field within or outside the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
- Excellent knowledge of English and Amharic; proficiency in other local languages is a strong asset
- Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, and reporting skills
- Computer proficiency especially in MS Office and qualitative data analysis
