The role
MSF - Holland is seeking a Medical Director to lead the organization’s medical strategy and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred healthcare in conflict and crisis-affected areas.
What you'll do
- Lead the public health department and the medical, humanitarian operations in OCA
- Steer the development of medical strategy and assure the comprehensive nature and quality of medical and public health policies
- Ensure the quality and professional range of medical leadership needed for this and drive innovation, monitoring, accountability and learning
- Work with the Operations Director to steer the allocation of resources to a diverse range of crises
- Oversee the relationship and processes with other departments to realize synergy, effectiveness and efficiency
- Collaborate with other OCs, promoting mutual accountability and an optimal use of MSF resources via mutualisation and interoperability where it is effective and efficient to do so
