The role
The Medical Coordinator is responsible for the design, development, supervision and improvement of the medical strategy and health and nutrition activities of MdM programs in North-East Syria. The role involves ensuring the quality of services supported by MdM by integrating the Triple Nexus approach into health programs, and representing the organization in all technical strategic and coordination forums.

- Manages health risks for MdM staff
- Participates in the definition and implementation of the health policy of the MdM teams

- Medical Doctor University Degree or Registered Nurse
- Master’s in international Cooperation and/or Humanitarian Aid, Public Health, gender and human rights
- At least 3 years’ experience in positions with similar responsibilities
- Previous experience in emergency contexts
- Previous experience in armed conflicts and/or Middle East region
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
