The role
The Logistics Manager will lead and execute daily logistics, warehousing, and commodity management activities under the AFGHS MOU, coordinating ITN distribution, monitoring storage and warehouse conditions, and supporting forecasting and commodity planning.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and support quarterly distribution cycles of ITNs
- Support LLIN storage operations at the General Services Agency warehouse
- Support the adoption of GS1 barcoding and traceability standards
- Support biannual demand-projection updates for ITNs
- Support risk assessments of storage and distribution vulnerabilities
- Support the Central Medical Store transition to full Government of Liberia ownership
What it takes
- Proven track record of successful USG-funded program management
- Proven leadership and ability to build and motivate diverse and talented teams
- Working knowledge of logistics management information systems
- Proven experience in building and maintaining institutional linkages
- Strong, current hands-on skills in warehouse management, inventory control, and commodity distribution planning
- Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Public Health Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
