The role

Join the BuildAbility Team as a Job Coach to assist individuals in reaching their employment goals through a supported employment program.

What you'll do

Assist individuals at their workplace to complete tasks successfully
Help individuals adjust to the workplace culture and understand workplace policies
Provide hands-on training, observation, and evaluation of the individual’s work tasks
Develop a relationship with workplace supervisors to gain feedback on the individual’s performance
Use BuildAbility’s digital program to log the individual’s progress and performance

What it takes

Optimistic attitude and ability to give encouraging verbal feedback regularly
Strong interpersonal skills
CPR/First Aid Certification (required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
CPI Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance
Willing to travel
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Proof of Criminal Background Clearance
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
