The role
The position is to be filled as of 1st of January 2027, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Kassala, Sudan (SD).
What you'll do
- Manage and implement project(s) in line with donor requirements and Welthungerhilfe standards
- Continuously review and adapt project plans and budgets and report on progress, challenges, and risks
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with donors and other relevant stakeholders
- Manage and recruit project staff
- Ensure the implementation and appropriate adaptation of Welthungerhilfe policies
- Represent Welthungerhilfe with relevant national and international stakeholders
What it takes
- Higher university degree in Agriculture, Project Management, Community Development, Social Sciences, or another related field
- At least 7 years’ professional experience on project coordination and management
- Experience in planning, leading and coordinating with other partners at the field level
- Experience on managing teams and working with donor fund projects
- Advance knowledge on MS Office skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access)
- Strong communication on spoken and writing English language
