The role

The Head of Programs at IsraAID in Uganda will provide strategic and operational leadership for all programs, ensuring quality and impact, and working closely with the Country Director and other departments.

What you'll do

Provide strategic oversight of all IsraAID Uganda programs
Lead programme planning, design, and implementation
Ensure all programme activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with donor requirements
Lead the development and review of project work plans, monitoring frameworks, and programme reports
Directly supervise the senior programmatic officers
Lead the coordination of programme team meetings

What it takes

Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, International Relations, Social Work and Social Administration, Public Health, or a related discipline
Master's degree in a relevant field
Minimum 6 years' progressive experience in humanitarian or development programming, including at least 3 years in a senior management or programme leadership role
Proven experience managing multi-sectoral programmes
Experience with donor-funded grants management and compliance
Experience leading proposal development and resource mobilisation
