The role
The IDB Group is seeking a General Operations Consultant to support the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and closure of IDB-financed operations, track project activities, and coordinate with government counterparts.
What you'll do
- Monitor assigned operations and key milestones
- Maintain accurate operational records and trackers
- Coordinate with government counterparts and internal Bank teams
- Support the organization and coordination of operational events
- Provide support for procurement and contract administration activities
- Prepare and contribute to reports and presentations
What it takes
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Public Administration, Finance, International Development, Procurement / Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
- At least 2 years of progressive experience
- Proficiency in English
- Citizenship of one of the 48-member countries of the IDB
- Eligible to work in Jamaica without the need for sponsorship
- No family members working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab
